Lucid Med is not a medical advice service, medical writing service, or academic content creation service. We are a visual design service that formats and designs presentations based on content provided by the Client.
Our service is analogous to hiring a graphic designer or medical illustrator. The Client provides the intellectual content (research findings, clinical data, presentation structure), and we provide visual design services (slide layout, formatting, visual elements, charts, diagrams). The intellectual work and clinical content remain the responsibility of the Client.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
Our services are intended for use by medical professionals, medical students, medical residents, fellows, and healthcare professionals for educational and professional purposes. By using our services, you represent that you are using them for legitimate educational or professional purposes.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing orders or creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Lucid Med is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity or a Business Associate as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations.
You must not include any Protected Health Information (PHI) or patient-identifiable information in any materials uploaded to our service. This includes but is not limited to:
All clinical cases included in presentation materials must be fully de-identified in accordance with the HIPAA Safe Harbor Method (removal of 18 identifiers) before submission to our service.
By uploading materials to our service, you represent and warrant that:
If we discover or suspect that uploaded materials contain PHI:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lucid Med, its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to the inclusion of PHI in materials you provide to us.

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of our workflow to improve efficiency and quality. These tools may include but are not limited to:
All AI-generated outputs are reviewed, edited, and refined by our human team before delivery. AI tools assist our workflow but do not replace human judgment, medical knowledge review, or design expertise.

Any claim or cause of action arising from or related to our services must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arises. Claims filed after this period are permanently barred.
